What is exhibition?
By all mean, it is an experience where people able to get a message.
Also, art objects meet their audience.

Types of exhibition:
  1. Retrospectives (look back)
  2. Individual expositions
  3. Group expositions
  4. Expositions on a specific theme or topic
Why have exhibitions?
  1. Networking
  2. Actual sales & sales leads
  3. A chance to check out the competition
  4. Face to face contact
  5. Showcasing a product

Process involved in organizing an exhibition
  1. Select a location
  2. Determine the budget (rent of hall, resources, printing, setup, materials, decorations, refreshments)
  3. Find sponsorship
  4. Allocate tasks to team
  5. Plan layout of exhibition (interior design, placements, equipment, lighting
  6. Plan publicity (above the line/below the line)
  7. Create a mailing list
  8. Execute, setup exhibition

Above the line:
- expensive
- cannot control audience
- mass media
- TV, radio

Below the line:
- cheaper
- can target audience
- traditional media (prints, poster, flyer...etc)
